Hand Hammered Bronze Himalayan Singing Bowls
A Tibetan singing bowl is a type of bell that vibrates and produces a rich, deep tone when played. Also known as Himalayan bowls, Tibetan singing bowls are said to promote relaxation and offer powerful healing properties.
Buddhist monks have long used Tibetan singing bowls in meditation practice. In addition, some wellness practitioners (including music therapists, massage therapists, and yoga therapists) use Tibetan singing bowls during treatments. In addition to usage for meditation, Tibetan Singing Bowls are used for relaxation, stress reduction, healing, and during Reiki sessions.
Medium Classic Meditation Tibetan Gong Tingsha Cymbals, 2.5"diameter
These Classic Meditation Tibetan Tingshas feature a smooth, dazzling surface with 2 concentric circles on the top of each Tingsha. The sound is penetrating and purposely dissonant unlike the harmonic overtones of the Tibetan singing bowls.
Tingsha chimes are traditionally used by Tibetan Buddhists to mark the beginning and end of meditation. They are also used by a Buddhist master to bring a student back into focus when his mind wanders during meditation. Made in Nepal of an alloy of bronze, iron, and zinc. 2.5” diameter. One set.
